It was a unique experience in Gaza to construct two floors building using one of Earth construction technologies. The building built on 150 m2 and hosted a women centre, targeting Bedouin women, the spaces in the upper floor designated to the women centre activities that includes a main office, a room for meeting and small focus group activities and a multifunctional room for big group activities. The spaces in the ground floor dedicated to the implementation of the income generating activities labs: a small carpentry for educational wooden toys production and a tailoring lab. The building conceived in terms of environmental sustainability by offering innovative technological solutions, which reinterpret the culture and local identity.
