Ghada Zeiada

Ghada Zeiada is a founder and CEO of GIRIH, she has a B.S. in Architectural Engineering from the Islamic University of Gaza, she works as a consultant of curricula development for the TEVET program in Palestine leaded by GIZ. Ghada is passionate about designing play spaces for children through her start-up “TOTA”, she labored as a trainer for women in developing products for children, conducted by Vento Di Terra, and funded by EU. She worked as a family literacy program assistant in A.M.Qattan Foundation – the child center in Gaza in 2010. Socially, Ghada had the honor to establish and to be the head of board of Zeina Women Center in Gaza Strip, and a deputy of women entrepreneur center- the Gaza Chamber of Commerce. Recently, Ghada joined the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Islamic University to study her Master in Engineering project management, a women-oriented entrepreneur training in Cactus – USA, and Filistinia Mini-MBA in the Bank Of Palestine and funded by IFC as well.

Rashid Al-Ruzzi

Rashid Al Ruzzi is a founding partner of Girih company. With more than 18 years of experience in architecture and interior design, he serves as a lead conceptual designer of Girih team. He initiated and participated in such leading projects in Gaza as French consulate and cultural center, interior design of Al Qattan center for the child, and several private and public projects. Rashid is partial to of traditional construction, and green architecture, where he has a unique experience in Earth construction technologies, he participated in the design and construction of Art and craft village, and Al deira hotel in Gaza. He initiated and developed other Earth projects in Gaza and Jericho as temporary shelters, Women Canters and kindergarten, and recently Al Shuka market in Rafah using Compressed earth blocks technology. Al Ruzzi holds Bachelor degree of architecture, MA in Business. He worked as a national coordinator with ILO for 7 years as he has long experiences in local economic development, private sector, organizations developments, employment issues, skills development, and green jobs.

Alaa Al Badri

Alaa Al Badri is an architect who has bachelor’s degree in architecture from University of Palestine in Gaza, She interested in projects management, administrative and logistic transactions works in GIRIH, She has a role in design section by draw detailed plans and supervised it, in addition to make the bill of quantities and the cost estimation of the project. She worked as Monitoring and Evaluation assistant in World Vision organization besides worked as Field assistant in all organization sections.
